The draw for the opening round of the 2019 Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup has been made.
The matches will be played on 13 May at 7pm with the ties and venues as follows;
PSNI Ladies v Chimney Corner Ladies, New Forge Lane
Lurgan Town Ladies v Killen Rangers Ladies, Gordon Playing Fields
Lisburn Ladies v Crewe United Ladies, Glenmore Activity Centre
Mid Ulster Ladies - Ballymena United All Stars, Mid Ulster Sports Arena
Bangor Ladies - Carnmoney Ladies, Clandeboye Park
Downpatrick Ladies, Ballymacash Young Ladies, Portadown Ladies and St James Swifts received a bye through to the second round where the seeded teams will also join the competition.
As the domestic women’s season approaches excitement is building for the competition which saw Glentoran Belfast United claim their seventh title at National Football Stadium at Windsor Park last September.
