This follows the huge demand shown by Northern Ireland fans who applied for more than 50,000 tickets for the tournament.
UEFA has notified all Participating National Associations in recent days of their final quota for the group matches. The figures were adjusted based on the final number of ticket requests for each game and were aimed at maximising the number available to fans.
The final figures for Northern Ireland’s matches are increased from:
12th June - Poland (Nice) 6,000 – 6,816
16th June - Ukraine (Lyon) 11,000 - 12,726
21 June - Germany (Paris) 8,000 - 9,516
Irish FA Chief Executive, Patrick Nelson, said:
“This is great news for our supporters as it means even more will now be able to attend games at EURO 2016. Our fans are famous throughout Europe and I have no doubt that the almost 30,000 that are lucky enough to get tickets will bring passion and colour to the tournament this summer.”
The UEFA window for ticket applications closed on Monday 18th January. Applicants will be told if they are successful by 29th February.
