“As a kid one of your dreams is to play for your country and if I can do that I will be very happy,” he said.
The 19-year-old who was in the squad for the Euro 2016 qualifier away to Romania in November, is aiming to win his first senior cap in the Vauxhall International Challenge Match against Scotland at Hampden Park on Wednesday night.
“It’s been great being in the squad; I really enjoyed my first time in the squad for the Romania game and I’m glad to be back and hopefully I can make my debut.”
