The academy will continue to take place at Craigavon Leisure Centre from 7-8pm in the indoor hall and is open to all girls aged 6 – 14. The centre will run for 6 weeks. The academy will focus on football development, the girls will get to work on their skills and drills with small sided games throughout.
Michael Boyd, IFA Director of Football Development commented “It is great to see another club setting up a junior girls section. We want to give many more young girls more opportunities to play. Football for All is central to our ethos and a big part of that is developing community clubs which cater for all ages and abilities.”
