In partnership with the IFA, Newry’s Neighbour Renewal provided the required funding for local capacity building with the qualifying of a new group of coaches.
The three day course included theory and practical sessions along with a first aid module.
Course tutor, Seamus Heath was delighted with the courses outcomes.
Seamus commented; “The standard of coaches and coaching was outstanding. It was a pleasure delivering the course and assessing the quality sessions and their new learning will certainly benefit local players in their footballing careers.”
Special mention to Sean McKevitt and Madeleine McCrink from Neighbourhood Renewal who’s funding and caring work made the course both viable and rewarding.
Local IFA RGDO Seamus Heath plans to deliver more courses in the district in the new year.
