The international challenge match between Northern Ireland’s Women’s Under-17s and France WU17s today (13 September) is to be streamed live.
It will be a tough test for Northern Ireland as the French are the current European champions after they won the U17 Women’s Euros back in May.
The game at Seaview is scheduled to kick off at 3pm and Michael Clarke will provide commentary. It can be viewed below.
The friendly against the French will be Gail Redmond’s first game in charge of the team since she was appointed WU17s and WU19s boss back in April.
It will act as a preparation game ahead of the WU17s competing in League A in the first round of qualifiers for the 2023-24 edition of the WU17 European Championship.
The WU17s are set to face England, Belgium and Hungary in Group A6 later this autumn. Hungary will host the League A mini tournament.
