As the game progressed Linfield became more dominant and on the 23 min their no 9 Paul Smith got the 1 st of his 4 goals with a excellent move which saw the Coleraine keeper left stranded on the corner of his 18yrd box as Smith rounded him and slotted the shot home.
Again on came Linfield and a well executed move between Adam McCallum and Callum Byers which saw Byers score from inside the 6yrd box on the 32 min.
Linfield stepped up the tempo again on the 38th min and Smith again struck after beating the keeper and slotting past him from 18 yds.
The Blues hadn't finished and on the 41st min Jack McAllister scored with a goal line tap in.
