The 27-year-old said that it has been a frustrating time for him, but that he is very proud of all his team mates and their performances in the campaign so far.
“The performances have been excellent; I’ve watched the games on TV and I’m very proud of all the lads,” he said. “They have all performed brilliantly and most importantly we’ve got points on the board.”
Evans added: “I’m really looking forward to the games this week; it’s being a long time since I’ve been in the squad. Injuries have kept me out of the recent games, which has been frustrating for me, so I’m glad to be back in the squad.”
