NORTHERN Ireland women take on Belgium in the final game of their UEFA Euro 2013 qualifying campaign tonight at Windsor Park (630pm), and will be looking to go out on a high.

Currently sitting in 4th place in the group and unable to qualify, Alfie Wylie’s team have shown that they are a match for anyone are confident of getting a result after drawing 2-2 in Belgium earlier this year.

18 year old Alex Hurst, is under no illusions about what they are up against in tonight’s game.  “The last time we played them they were fast and strong, but you would expect that from every highly ranked nation.  It was a tough game for us but we came back twice and got a good draw, so hopefully we can get another good result tonight,” said the defender.

“We have had more time to prepare for the game this time and there is a confidence in the team and we know we can get a result.  We have been training twice a day and we are constantly learning about how we all play together, and this can only benefit the team when it comes to playing matches.”

Entry to tonight’s game is free.
