THE Irish FA recently delivered a pilot Club Administration Workshop to club officials within girls and women’s football.
In total, 21 club officials representing 13 NIWFA clubs attended the evening at the Malone Lodge Hotel.
Organised as part of the SCORE Pilot Project, with funding from the UEFA HatTrick Programme, the workshop was part of a series of Irish FA activities aimed at enhancing the knowledge base of officials working within local girls’ and women’s football clubs.
Topics covered during the workshop included the structure of football and in particular women’s football within Northern Ireland, player registration and disciplinary code.
Clubs in attendance included Ballymena United Allstars, Bangor Ladies, Carnmoney Ladies, Crusaders Strikers, Dromore Amateurs, Larne Ladies, Linfield Girls, Lisburn Ladies, Newbridge Predators, Newry City, Portadown Integrated Ladies, PSNI Ladies and Valley Rangers.
