North Belfast is the place to be tonight as both Crusaders and Cliftonville take on Rosenborg and Kalmar FF respectively in the first leg of their Europa League first round ties.

Stephen Baxter knows his team face a daunting task as they tackle experienced European campaigners Rosenborg but will look to put in another good performance following their exploits against English Premier League side Fulham at this stage last season. "It's going to be an uphill task as they have been very successful in Europe over the last number of years,” said the manager.

"We got hold of a DVD of their last four or five matches and they are a very big, strong team. But we gave a very good account of ourselves against Fulham last year and I'm expecting more of the same 12 months on."

Cliftonville also welcome Scandinavian opposition to Solitude and will not be underestimating Kalmar FF in any way according to Reds midfielder, George McMullan.

We’re an attacking team and we’ll be trying to get forward as much as possible but, at the same time, we obviously have to make sure we don’t leave any gaps that can be opened up. Tommy will have a plan in place and we’ll stick to that. We’ll take it minute by minute, try to keep things tight and then see what direction the game goes in" said McMullan.
