IFA Head of Community Relations, Michael Boyd has praised Year 12 students from Ashfield Boys High School for their anti-sectarian multi sport Unite Against Hate event held.
The event took place at the East Belasft school in East Belfast on Friday.
“The students developed their own anti-sectarian presentation and delivered it to Year 8 Students, they organised a cross community football tournament involving over eighty Yearr 8 Students from eight different schools from all over Belfast, as well as organising a fun penalty kick competition and Hurling coaching for all the participants.
"The Ashfield Boys Year 12 students who organised this event are a real credit to their school and inspirational Role Models," said Michael.
