NUTTY KRUST SUMMER FUN AT CASTLEREAGH

Release Date: 30/08/2012

The fourth of Castlereagh Irish FA ‘Nutty Krust’ Summer Soccer Schools took place last week at the Loughmoss Centre in Carryduff.

The 80 boys and girls involved took part in the coaching sessions, daily skills challenges and mini soccer matches. The week was organised by Castlereagh Grassroots Development Officer Phil Melville.

Speaking about the Soccer School Phil said, “It is great to see so many youngsters from Carryduff and the surrounding area enjoying the sessions we have put on this week.  There has been a great atmosphere over the five days, we have had lots of fun and it has been encouraging to see the children develop their football skills.

Phil added “I want to thank Brendan Shannon George Stewart, Stevie Graham Ashley Hutton and Jordan Reid who coached the groups and worked so hard throughout the week.  Their coaching sessions are always enjoyable and challenging and I know the groups appreciated their expertise this week.

All the children in attendance at the week received a Nutty Krust goodie bag and a football which was well received.
