The Irish Football Association is expecting to run a small number of Basic Referee’s Courses in 2014. They will be held in different locations around Northern Ireland with details appearing on this page over the next few months.
The next introductory course will be on Monday 21st July 2014 at Shamrock Park, Portadown. A beginners course will run at the same venue from Monday 4th August 2014.

Seaview was the place to be on Monday night to witness not just a great victory for Crusaders over Sligo Rovers but also the next generation of budding stars.
Organised by IFA grassroots development officer Phil Melville, Children from Crusaders and Carnmoney FDC under 10's who play in the McDonald's IFA small sided games programme were the half time entertainment.
On a wet and windy night some the football played by both teams was of the highest standard.
The McDonald's Small Sided Games is a key component of the Irish Football Association's grassroots department's strategy which encourages focuses more on the development of young players rather than the result and more importantly, kids playing without fear to express themselves and having FUN.
