CLIFTONVILLE V CELTIC XI

Less than six weeks remain until Cliftonville lock horns with a Celtic XI at Solitude.

Following today's visit of Celtic personnel to assist the Club in making arrangements for the occasion, it has been confirmed that the game will have a 2pm kick-off and tickets are now available for purchase via the clubs website, www.cliftonvillefc.net

The game will afford Manager Tommy Breslin the chance to pit his players against quality opposition in the lead up to the new Premiership campaign, while the Hoops will doubtless be keen to avenge the 3-0 defeat they suffered on their last visit when a Chris Scannell brace and Ciaran Caldwell header helped the Reds mark their 130th Anniversary celebrations in memorable style.
