Ballinamallard United Youth win IFA League Cup in extra time.

Ballinamallard Utd Youth won tonights IFA Youth League Cup with a 3-2 victory over rivals Glenavon III at Holm Park, Armagh.

Ballinamallards Joshua McIlwaine opened the scoring on 9 mins only to see his goal cancelled out by teamate Gareth Carrothers own goal on 42 mins.

Ballinamallard Captain John Edgar scored his teams second on 18 mins of the second half and Glenavon III equalised on 25 mins to level the score and take the game into extra time.

The winning strike came on the 5th min of the second period of extra time from Ballinamallards Joshua McIlwaine with his second goal of the game.
